AEG boosts global touring division

On the heels of forming AEG Global Touring, promoter AEG Presents has made several more appointments to the new division.

Based in Los Angeles, David Rappaport joins as chief operating officer, Michael Harrison as senior vice-president (VP), Michelle Swing as director of artist development and Victoria Torchia as head of digital marketing.

Most recently, Rappaport was head of artist relations at YouTube Music/Google Play Music. Harrison spent 26 years as tour director for Frontier Touring in Austalia and New Zealand. Swing is a former StubHub executive and Torchia joins from AOL.

In addition, several AEG Presents executives based in New York will move to the Global Touring division – Donna Di Benedetto (as VP), Jenny Heifetz Heanault (senior director), Jessica Smith (senior marketing manager) and Derek Tucker as VP of ticketing.
