Fans attending Bilbao’s BBK Live (cap. 40,000) can expect improvements in all aspects of the festival as its prepares for its 12th year, say organisers.
The Last Tour international-promoted event takes place from 12-14 July on Kobetamendi mountain, overlooking the city.
“We have been making improvements year-on-year to improve the overall experience, from offering more space and choices on where to camp, new deluxe camping options, better accessibility to the festival with more flights, organised buses from different cities, shuttle buses to and from the festival, and use of electronic payment through the festival bracelet,” says BBK’s Elena Beruete.
Artistes playing the festival include The xx, Gorillaz, Childish Gambino, My Bloody Valentine and Florence and The Machine, with three-day tickets priced at €135 ($167).
“BBK Live is unique because of its surroundings; it is in the mountain, in the open air and you can sleep in the middle of nature. It is the authentic festival experience,” adds Beruete.
