Beat the Street launches in US

Luxury tour bus operator Beat the Street (BTB), which is headquartered in Austria, is to launch a service in January, offering a new double-decker bus service, which the company says has not been available in the country before.

BTB, whose European clients include Shawn Mendes and Bon Jovi, opens a office in Nashville headed by Tim King, formerly head of its UK operation, offering its 16 or 14-bunk crew and band bus, supplied exclusively for the company by Belgian manufacturer Van Hool.

“Double-deckers are not yet used in the States for touring, but their additional capacity is well known to those US tour managers who use them with us in Europe and the UK,” says BTB owner and MD Joerg Philipp. “American clients have been asking us for many years to run our buses in the States.”
