CTS predicts record year

December 4, 2018

Pn-Europe ticketing and promoting giant CTS Eventim has reported a “significant increase in revenue and earnings” during the first nine months of the year.

The company says the growth was in both its ticketing and live entertainment divisions, with group revenue up 23.9 per cent year-on-year to €922.5 million ($1.1 billion).

Meanwhile, earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITA) were up 17.1 per cent to €140m ($159m).

CEO Klaus-Peter Schulenberg says he expects further growth in both revenue and earnings for the final quarter of 2018, in part due to presale forecasts.

“The fact that we have ramped up our dynamic growth in recent months shows that we can be confident about the fourth quarter,” he says.“We are on course for another record year.”
