Diamond moves to head of global

Marty Diamond was appointed Paradigm Talent Agency’s head of global music. The last incumbent of the title was Chip Hooper, who died in March 2016. 

Diamond also serves on the board’s of Paradigm’s international part-owned partners Coda Music Agency and X-ray Touring, both based in he UK.

Among artistes on his personal roster for North America are Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Sigur Ros and Liam Gallagher.

“Marty’s passion, his intelligence and his dedication to building amazing careers for artistes has been an inspiration to me and everyone at Paradigm for the last 13 years,” says Paradigm chairman and CEO Sam Gores. “Leadership is not something you are given, it’s something you earn, and Marty has unquestionably earned it.”

Diamond joined Paradigm in 2006, when the company acquired his boutique agency Little Big Man Booking, founded in 1994. He previously had stints at International Talent Group, Arista Records, PolyGram, Bill Graham Management, and as talent buyer at The Ritz (cap. 1,500) in New York, now known as Webster Hall.
