DICE opens in Milan

DIGITAL TICKETING platform DICE has expansed into Italy with an office in Milan and three exclusive deals.

The UK-based mobile app, which also has a presence in France, the US and Australia, has secured partnerships promoter Radar Concerti, venue Magazzini Generali (cap. 3,000) and club Arci Ohibò (300).

“DICE was founded to fix a broken ticketing system,”  says DICE’s chief revenue Russ Tannen officer.

“We decided to offer an alternative – building a tout-beating platform with only fans in mind, Since we went on-sale exclusively with [Radar-promoted] FKA Twigs in at Fabrique [3,200] in Milan, not one single ticket has ended up on a secondary ticketing site.”

The platform, which also offers live events discovery, has anti-tout technology which locks tickets to the customer’s smartphone, preventing resale.

Headliners included Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Chainsmokers and B’z.
