PAN-EUROPEAN festival and concert promoter FKP Scorpio has hired former DHP Family executives Scott O’Neill and Daniel Ealam to “significantly expand” its UK business.

The duo join Barry Campbell and James Cassidy on the board of FKP Scorpio UK, which was launched in 2008. Its recent projects include arena tours of BBC Earth nature documentaries, Blue Planet II and Planet Earth II Live-In-Concert.

FKP is part of ticketing giant CTS Eventim’s pan-European promoter network Eventim Live, and owns German festivals including Hurricane (cap, 70,000) and Southside (50,0000).

O’Neil joined venues, promoting and festivals operator DHP in 2010 and launched London festival Mirrors, while Ealam was responsible for DHP’s three city centre Dot To Dot festivals and artist management division.

“We are convinced that with their support we will be able to significantly expand our activities in the UK”, said FKP CEO Folkert Koopmans.
