Industry veteran Adam Friedman has been named president of the entertainment division of the newly opened $350 million, 23,000-capacity Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles.
As well as staging events at the stadium – which is an open venue with no exclusive promoter, BOCS Entertainment (BOCSE) plans to host concerts and sports events at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum (93,607) and multi-stage, music festivals incorporating the stadium, coliseum and adjacent Exposition Park.
Banc of California Stadium has its first concert on 2 June when it hosts iHeartRadio Wango Tango featuring Ariana Grande, Shawn Mendes, Meghan Trainor and Backstreet Boys.
Friedman, who has most recently been an entertainment projects consultant, is a former CEO of Nederlander Concerts.
