Following the success of this year’s inaugural Kala Festival, organisers plan to increase capacity by 30 per cent, from 1,500 to 2,000, for the 2019 event.
Artiste appearing duing the seven-day event included Roy Ayers, Todd Terje, Tom Misch and The Black Madonna.
The festival’s five stages set along the coastline include Gjipe Beach, located in the entrance to a huge, natural red-stone canyon, It also offers wellbeing activities with yoga, meditation and massage on offer.
Packages, including festival pass, travel and accommodation for seven nights, cost from €250 ($290). A number of day tickets will also be available for local people.
The next event will take place from 12-19 June 2019.
