The 50,000-capacity Ultra Music Festival will have an extended operating time next year, after its new site in Miami was confirmed.
The dance event has been held annually in the city since 1999 and confirmed this month that it is moving from Bayfront Park to Virginia Key.
The deal with the local authority will see a new curfew time of 2am, as well as an extended capacity as yet unannounced.
“The City of Miami has agreed to a deal to relocate Ultra Music Festival to the beautiful and historic Virginia Key,” says an Ultra spokesman says.
“The new venue will allow the festival to evolve into its new, larger home, ultimately creating a more enjoyable experience for all festival attendees.”
Next year’s event takes place between 29 and 31 March, with tickets priced between $299.95 and $399.95.
The 20th anniversary event will feature acts such as Azealia Banks, Empire of the Sun, Fischerspooner and Infected Mushroom.
Ultra Music also has spin-off festivals in Australia, South-East Asia, Europe and South America.
