Live Nation takes Emporium stake

Live Nation Entertainment (LNE) has acquired a 51 per cent stake in promoter Emporium Presents, which stages more than 400 shows annually across North America.

Co-founded by Dan Steinberg and Jason Zink in 2015, when they merged Steinberg’s Square Peg Concerts and Zink’s Sherpa Concerts, Emporium has offices in Denver, Seattle and Birmingham, Alabama.

“Jason and I are still running the company as always, but with the added resources of the biggest promoter in the world,” Steinberg tells Audience. “Not only does it give us deeper pockets, but we now have the most experienced minds in the business available to us.”

Emporium concerts feature artistes such as  Dolly Parton, Scorpions, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert and Ghost.
