Move into management

World News
August 28, 2018

One of the region’s largest independent promoters, Move Concerts, has joined with Argentinean management agency 70MIL to launch Move Management.

The deal will see Move take over the touring and promotion of singer Abel Pintos, who was previously with 70MIL. The company has already worked on Pintos’s tours covering Spain, Mexico, Cost Rica, Colombia and Peru.

“This partnership will guarantee the consolidation and exponential growth of Abel and Move Management,” says Move CEO Phil Rodriguez.

Earlier this year Move partnered with Brazilian booking agency WorkShow to form talent agency WMM (see Audience issue 218). The promoter, which has offices in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru, Puerto Rico and headquarters in Miami, US, currently has shows in the region with Thirty Seconds to Mars, Shakira and Noel Gallagher.
