Michael Gudinski’s Mushroom Group has launched a live Marketing and Communications division, headed by Reegan Stark, in response to “unprecedented growth” across its live and record label business.

The move is part of a major restructuring of the business and following Gudinski and Chugg Entertainment’s Michael Chugg reuniting in March to form a joint venture, 40 years after they co-founded Frontier Touring (the pair split in 1999) and AEG purchasing a 50 per cent stake in Frontier Touring in April.

The new division will oversee all marketing, PR and digital activity for Frontier Touring, Chugg Entertainment, CMC Rocks and other live company brands.

Stark, who has been with Mushroom Group for more than 17 years, most recently as group publicity and promotions director, has taken on the newly created role of chief marketing and communications officer.

“Our overriding principle at Mushroom is to be leaders and not followers and I believe these changes will allow us to consolidate both sides of our business,” says Gudinski.

Other staff changes include Mary Bainbridge taking on the role of Marketing and Ticketing senior consultant and Samantha Clode promoted to communications director.
