New role for Carlomagno at Move

Partner and MD of Move Concerts Argentina Sebastian Carlomagno has been appointed chief operating officer of parent company Move Concerts, working across Latin America.

Carlomagno was previously commercial director of Mexico-based promoter OCESA Presents, before becoming president and regional director of Time 4 Fun in Argentina, when it launched in 2007. He joined Move in 2014.

“It became evident that we needed a chief operating officer familiar with all aspects of this business, and cognisant of the direction in which the company was moving as well as the opportunities therein,” says Move CEO Phil Rodriguez, who is based in Maimi, US.

Move, which also has offices in Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Peru and Puerto Rico. has brought in Marcela Pinelli as chief operating officer at Move Argentina, while Carlomagno remains based in Buenos Aires,

“My objective now is to strengthen the company’s growth in the region,” says Carlomagno.

Forthcoming Move Argentina shows include Radiohead and Katy Perry at Tecnopolis (cap. 35,000) and the Kooks at Luna Park (6,000).
