Promoters association appoints new CEO

The Norske Konsertarrangøre (Norwegian Concert Organisers, NKA) has announced Tone Østerdal as its new CEO.

Tone Østerdal who is also the chairman of promoter and live events company nyMusikk, will take up the role on 1 August, leaving her position as head of culture for the county of Akershus.

“The music industry is growing, and it is being driven by the live business,” says Østerdal. “I am committed to ensuring NKA will strengthen member dialogue and focus even more on influencing policy on behalf of promoters in Norway.”

Established in 1982, NKA has more than 340 members, including venues and festivals.
