The 85,000-capacity not-for-profit Roskilde Festival is preparing for another sell-out year for its 49th edition.

Among the first wave of artistes confirmed for the event, which is located 34kms to the west of capital city Copenhagen and will be held from 29 June to 6 July, include Travis Scott, Julia Holter, Alma, Tirzah and Testament.

“Travis Scott is one of the best live artistes in modern hip-hop, and he’s more than ready to take on our iconic Orange Stage. says Roskilde head of programme Anders Wahrén

“He is strongly on his way to becoming an icon himself – bring on summer already.”

A total of 180 artistes will perform across the festival’s eight stages.

Full camping tickets are 2,100 krone ($319), while a limited number of one-day tickets are available for each of the last four days at 1,050 krone ($160) each.
