PROMOTER DAVID Parlane of 3 Coins Gentleman Events says he expects another sell-out year for his 10,000-capacity festival Selwyn Sands.

The one-day event, which takes place annually near Christchurch, was launched in 2017 and has sold-out for the past two years.

This year’s edition featured Little River Band, former Noiseworks and INXS singer Jon Stevens and Leo Sayer.

“With Icehouse, 10cc and Midge Ure – the voice of Ultravox, we have three truly international bands that play hit after hit,” says Parlane.

Next year’s festival will take place on 7 March, with tickets priced at NZ$173 (US$111).
