Triple threat for NYE

Festival News

THE ORGANISERS of Victoria’s Beyond The Valley (cap. 16,000) and Perth’s Origin Fields (15,000) festivals have teamed-up to launch a new one-day dance event in Brisbane.

Wildlands will take place on 28 December in Brisbane showgrounds, and will feature artistes such as Tyler, The Creator, RÜFÜS DU SOL, and Skepta – who will go on to play the other two festivals across New Years Eve and New Years Day.

“Origin and Beyond The Valley have been sharing artistes over New Years for the last five years, and through the success of that we realized that joining forces to bring those artistes to Brisbane was the next logical step,” Beyond The Valley organiser Nicholas Greco tells Audience.

“Brisbane has been missing out on what we’ve had on offer in Melbourne and Perth, and we’ve had countless messages to create something up north and this year felt right.”

Tickets for Wildlands range from A$147.56–221.95 (US$100-150).
